A recent posting on IDsketching.com, also syndicated on Core77, was of the opinion that maintaining a blog was the worst sin a design student can make. According to them, a personal blog was a form of self-mastabatory aid and should be avoided like the plague, with the eager student instead spending the time to further develop ideas.
